Travelling In Thailand

You may well want to spend time travelling in Thailand before or after your time volunteering. Thailand is a great country for exploring because it’s relatively cheap compared to Western countries but the transport infrastructure is well developed.

For Thailand travelling info, I recommend Travelhappy.info and Travelfish.org as two sites that provide comprehensive information. Travelfish has a useful discussion forum. Koh Lanta is my personal favourite Thai island for getting away from Bangkok but you may prefer the mountains of Chiang Mai or Angkor temples of rural Issan. Enjoy!
