Volunteer Teachers Needed in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Are you looking for the right opportunity to do some volunteer teaching in the north of Thailand? Kid Launch is opening its first hill tribe school north of Chiang Mai and is looking for two volunteer teachers to teach the children and parents English. The minimum requirement is for a 3 month posting as they will be investing in training you and also to provide some consistency for the children by having the same teacher for at least 3 months. The English curriculum will be provided and is based on the UK system of learning/teaching called Jolly Phonics. Lesson plans will be easy to follow and use in the classroom in a fun and educational way and you’ll see real progress with these kids. Formal schooling has largely been absent in this area due to its location and the entire community supports the efforts to instill the educational foundation for their children to have more opportunities for themselves in the future. If you’re interested in finding out more about this volunteer opportunity please email
realvolunteer@gmail.com or contact Kid Launch directly.
